ARCHERY

Dubai Archers has been established for over 20 years. Its founder and current Chairman is Simon Linton.

In the early days there wasn’t the luxury of an affiliation to a club, the equipment was transported to wherever there was a safe place to shoot. We later had a 6 year association with Dubai Country Club, sadly the club closed and left Dubai Archers without a shooting range.

Sharjah Wanderers Golf Club came to our aid and offered us the means to re-establish our Club. We now have a good relationship with the golfers and play and shoot in harmony.

Dubai Archers is entirely run by volunteers and all have full-time employment within the UAE. We do not have any employed staff; therefore we are only available via email, SMS or phone throughout the week.

OUR AIM
Is solely to promote the sport of Archery - to introduce beginners to an Ancient sport and for Experienced Archers to nurture and better their skills.
